NDN Appoints Michael Gay as VP, Local Broadcast

NDN, the leading Digital Media Exchange platform for online news publishers, today announced the appointment of Michael Gay as VP, Local Broadcast. In this role, Michael will have overall management of NDN's relationships with local broadcasting partners and will develop and lead a multi-year strategy for NDN's local television business.

NDN has aggregated local broadcast content from over 260 local television stations, covering 95% of the US audience. Publishers access this content, along with NDN's national content brand sources, free of charge and share in the revenue generated via advertising. NDN has relationships with over 4,500 premium publishers across newspaper, magazine, new media, televiion and radio properties, aggregating the largest premium audience of news consumers on the web.

Mr. Gay comes to NDN from Journal Broadcast Group where he served as VP of Interactive Media. During his tenure at Journal Broadcast Group, he managed the P&L for all interactive efforts for Journal Broadcast Group's 13 media markets. In addition, he managed the day-to-day editorial and staff teams for Milwaukee TV/Radio, Las Vegas TV, and Nashville TV.

Prior to Journal Broadcast Group, Mr. Gay served as the Corporate Executive Producer, Digital Media, for Hearst Television in which he developed and executed the national content and distribution strategy for the group's 29 websites. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gay held positions at WBBM-TV, a CBS TV Stations Group, KRON-TV and WLNS-TV, Young Broadcasting stations, and WILX-TV, a Benedek Broadcasting station. Mr. Gay graduated with a Telecommunications degree from Michigan State University and received a Masters of Science in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University. Mr. Gay will be based at the company's headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
