Qumu Named a Leader in the Aragon Research Globe for Video Content Management 2015

Qumu (NASDAQ: QUMU), the leader in enterprise video, today announced that Aragon Research, a technology-focused research and advisory firm, named Qumu a leader in the Aragon Research Globe for Video Content Management, 2015 report.

Authored by Aragon Research analysts, David Mario Smith and Jim Lundy, the report asked 14 providers with enterprise video capability and scale key questions around analytics and reporting capabilities, deployment models supported, integration with enterprise applications, search and their ability to scale and deliver video. The analysts then placed the providers on a matrix according to the strength of their strategy and performnce.

In the report, Aragon referenced Qumu's recent acquisition, Kulu Valley, whose platform has been rebranded as Qumu Cloud, saying the acquisition gives Qumu, "an enhanced cloud delivery model, external expertise and role-based reach in lines of business to go along with its internal video capabilities." The report also cited Qumu's real-time analytics as well as integration with marketing automation tools like Eloqua (News - Alert) and StoneShot as features that "make the Qumu offering ideal for video content marketing."

Qumu was named a Leader in the Research Globe matrix due to its strong public, private and hybrid cloud deployment options, video delivery architecture and search capabilities, including speech search capability, which enables users to search the audio tracks of videos.
