Pop up Pay it Forward Acts Taking Patrons by Surprise

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Local Raleigh startup, Pifpouch, is hitting the streets with pop up pay it forward acts. This week they are targeting 25 local Raleigh coffee shops, and over the holiday season, they will be paying it forward to patrons of many local Raleigh businesses including lunch hot spots, movie theaters, car washes, etc. Acts of kindness are being captured by Pifpouch and their supporters with hashtag #pifpouch on Facebook.

"It's been a lot of fun surprising patrons and seeing their faces light up," says Marty Lynch, a founder at Pifpouch. At Cup of Joe's in Raleigh, Jordan Todd said, "I was having a really bad day, and this really lifted me up."

Pifpouch, https://pifpouch.com, is designed to pay it forward all year by inspiring random acts of kindness and positivity across the globe. Leveraging technology and prsonal connection, pifpouch was created as a trackable pay it forward program using a physical pifpouch and web platform.

Brett Austin, a founder of Pifpouch, says, "Our goal is to plant the seeds of kindness that will keep the pay it forward acts going. It's exciting to see it already happening."

Pifpouch is all about creating a pay it forward experience. An individual or organization will have an opportunity to spread a message, participate in a selfless spirit of giving, optionally raise money for a preferred cause or organization, and track the pifpouch as it gets passed from one person to the next. Features include distance traveled, cities traveled to, number of passes, random act of kindness experiences, and funds raised.

"It's important to give back to the city. As a marathon runner who spends much of my training miles in and around the downtown area, I see first hand the homeless issues. Nobody should be living under a bridge! I've given shoes and t-shirts, and I'm excited that pifpouch will be a medium not only to support the homeless, but other causes, as well," says Jeff Lynch, CEO of Pifpouch. Pifpouch intends to give a percentage of future proceeds to support the homeless community in Raleigh.

Pifpouch created a Kickstarter project on November 14th to raise brand awareness and funds for their official launch in early 2016. For more information visit, https://pifpouch.com
