Yahoo Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) today announced the agenda for Yahoo's third
Mobile Developer Conference to be held February 18th in San Francisco.
Throughout the conference, developers will hear from some of the most
talented leaders in the industry on the pressing topics facing the
mobile developer community, such as mobile monetization and user
acquisition.
Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer will kick off the event, followed by a State of
Mobile address from Simon Khalaf, SVP of Publisher Products. The next
group of presenters will offer a deep dive on several advancements to
the Yahoo Mobile Developer Suite and a look into the State of Native
Ads. The morning will close with a panel discussion on the increasing
usage and trends around ever-popular messaging apps.
After-lunch sessions will explore the ways time-strapped developers can
leverage Tumblr for an effective content marketing solution, and they
will provide a debrief on findings from Yahoo's App Lifecycle study. The
rest of the afternoon will include insights on how to grow, retain and
monetize users on mobile.
"In 2015, Yahoo supported hundreds of thousands of mobile developers in
creating, growing and monetizing apps through our mobile developer
suite," saidSimon Khalaf, SVP of Publisher Products. "This year, we're
excited to gather together once again with our developer community,
where we'll deliver fresh content and new tools to help them succeed
even more."
The event will take place at The Masonic in San Francisco's Nob Hill
neighborhood. Registration and breakfast begins at 9:00, with morning
keynotes starting at 10:00am. The day will conclude with a cocktail
