Revel Consulting Builds Momentum, Adds Two to Leadership to Transform the Next Decade of Digital

Revel Consulting announced today that business transformation experts Laszlo (News - Alert) Kismarton and Nicole Ponzio have joined the firm, advancing its leadership role in designing and executing digital experiences that are changing the way companies operate. Both come from world-class companies with deep expertise in technology and business innovation.

The move comes at a pivotal time, especially as business-to-business (B2B) companies increasingly seek to strengthen relationships with their customers directly through online channels. Recent research shows that poor customer experiences will destroy 30% of digital business projects, even as 89% of B2B marketing leaders expect to compete primarily on the basis of digital customer experience and more than 50% of organizations will implement significant business model changes to improve them. "Laszlo and Nicole know how to transform digital opportunity into operational reality, which is a challenge for even the most sophisticated companies," said Vikas Kamran, Revel CEO. "Both are proven business leaders, game-changers for our clients, and the perfect partners for Revel as we continue to execute on our vision for the future."

Laszlo Kismarton joins Revel as a Client Service Partner to expand the firm's retail offerings for both the traditional retail industry as well as companies across multiple sectors that increasingly market directly to consumers. In addition to his focus on retail, Kismarton will also lead the firm's efforts to strengthen its technology platform, product and service offerings. He brings 15 years of experience helping companies transform the way they engage with customers through relevant, contextual, and utility-driven digital experiences across the retail, telecommunications, technology, transportation, health care, and travel and hospitality industries.

Prior to Revel, Kismarton held leadership roles with Accenture (News - Alert) Interactive, Acquity Group and Razorfish, helping each establish and grow their Pacific Northwest operations, expand their digtal capability portfolios and increase client service excellence. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, both from New Mexico State University.

"I've spent my career building digital businesses and, in the two years talking with Revel about its strategy for the future, each conversation made clearer that its vision is both real and revolutionary," said Kismarton. "The opportunity to combine big picture technology planning with roll-up-your-sleeves implementation for Revel and for its clients is both growing and exciting."

Nicole Ponzio joins the firm as a Senior Manager and will lead Revel's Experience Design Community by strengthening its offerings in creative strategy, customer experience, business process and product design disciplines. She is a senior innovation leader who combines design, business, technical expertise and agile development experience to create new strategies and transformative business opportunities.

Prior to Revel, Ponzio most recently led customer experience innovation at Nordstrom and held senior product design roles at Target (News - Alert). At Nordstrom, her mandate included solving unmet customer needs for both the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack businesses, as well as working with the company's Customer Experience Center to research, design and test new ideas and technologies. At Target, she defined and drove disruptive innovation efforts at the convergence of business strategy, customer experience, emerging technologies and data. She holds a Master of Science degree in Product Design and Development, a joint program from the Kellogg School of Management and McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola University of Chicago.

"In my corporate roles, I've spoken with nearly every major consulting and innovation firm in the world, and I haven't yet experienced one that approaches digital transformation the human-centered way Revel does," said Ponzio. "As I saw the firm's Community Model grow into a true end-to-end offering for its clients, I knew I had to be a part of it."

Revel is organized into five unique communities, each keenly focused on a different phase in the lifecycle of digital business transformation. These communities - Strategy, Experience Design, Organization Engagement, Transformation, and Analytics - are designed for maximum agility and flexibility in the face of ever-evolving technological capabilities, consumer expectations, and client needs. This operating model makes Revel uniquely positioned to help its clients stay ahead of three megatrends - omnichannel-to-ubiquity, monetizing trust, and agile everything - looming on the horizon for companies across all industries.

"There are no two people better prepared to help our clients navigate the next decade of digital business than Laszlo and Nicole," continued Kamran. "Bringing them to our clients and our team is the next step in Revel's own evolution into becoming the leading digital transformation consulting firm in the world."
