Charles Hough Joins NewsCred as President and COO as Company Unveils New Insights-Driven Roadmap and Content Marketing Advisory Services Team

today that Charles Hough has joined the company as President and Chief
Operating Officer (COO) as the company deploys a paired leadership
strategy, introduces its Content Marketing Advisory Services team and
invests heavily in an analytics and insights-driven product roadmap.
Hough brings more than 20 years of domain expertise in scaling
enterprise software companies (leading two IPO processes), a deep
appreciation for the power of content to deliver business outcomes and
an exceptional product and services background. NewsCred is now
singularly focused on making its customers more successful at achieving
strong business results through the science of content marketing.

Previously, Hough served as COO of View The Space (VTS), the leading
provider of data-driven commercial leasing solutions to large
enterprises. Hough led the company's strategic merger with Hightower,
while steering its rapid growth including the company's $55M Series C
financing.
Prior to VTS, Hough was COO of Lithium Technologies (News - Alert), where he led the
company through a major growth cycle as it scaled from a small start-up
to the industry-leading enterprise social media and community platform.
During his six-year tenure at Lithium, he helped orient the business
around expert-based services enabled by a scalable technology platform.

Hough was an early employee at Interwoven (News - Alert), a global leader in enterprise
content management. As VP of Product, Hough led the expansion of the
company's "Enterprise Content Management" solution across all content
channels. Hough also built the services organization as VP of Worldwide
Services, deploying the company's content management platform for a
number of global enterprises.

technology hires including Lisa Kalscheur as SVP of Marketing, and Cliff
Dorsey and Roger Orde to lead NewsCred's sales and customer success
teams. Kalscheur was previously VP of Marketing at AppNexus, the world's
leading advertising technology company. Dorsey most recently served as
AVP of Sales at Medallia, a customer experience management and
enterprise feedback software and Orde as VP of Global Customer Success
at HootSuite Media, the leading social media platform.
