ZTE and Quantenna Team Up for GPON Residential Gateway Products

FREMONT, Calif., April 10, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions and Quantenna Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:QTNA), a leading provider of high performance Wi-Fi solutions, today announced a new high end GPON product line that integrates Quantenna’s award-winning 4x4 802.11ac Wave 2 QSR1000 chipset. This new gateway line is targeted at service providers worldwide.

As fiber network speeds continue to increase, gateways have to keep on evolving by supporting the latest generation of GPON as well as state of the art Wi-Fi for whole home coverage. The new product line offers greater bandwidth to meet full-service access and multi-scenario requirements, and provides carrier-class QoS.
