BetterUp, the company that pioneered mobile coaching to help all workers live their lives with optimal clarity, purpose and passion, today announced a key hire to its leadership team with the appointment of Deborah Wolf as Chief Marketing Officer.

"The increasing market demand for personalized coaching continues to fuel our growth and Deb's expertise in molding startups into superstars will be instrumental as we rise to the next level," says Alexi Robichaux, Co-Founder and CEO of BetterUp. "She is a strong leader who shares our passion for human wellness and fulfillment at work, and we are excited to welcome her unique skill set to our growing team of technologist, scientists, and coaches."

As a well-respected marketing professional, Wolf brings nearly 30 years of experience in creating results-oriented marketing strategies and driving revenue for high-growth companies across technology, mobile, human capital as well as human resources. Prior to BetterUp, Wolf served as Chief Marketing Officer for Lookout and was instrumental in helping the company pivot from a consumer-facing brand to one focused on global enterprises.

"I share BetterUp's vision that a healthy, engaged employee drives productivity and competitive advantage," says Wolf. "I'm looking forward to pulling frommy years of experience in the human capital and software space to help employees and their companies see the value in coaching and make meaningful changes that allow them to thrive at work, and beyond."

Formerly Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Workday, she started with the company prior to its launch in 2006 and navigated it through its 2012 IPO, which gained 71.6% in the first day of trading and was the largest venture-backed IPO since Facebook (News - Alert). Over her eight-year tenure, Workday leapt from a small startup to a well-reputed public company with a $15 billion market cap.
