Weave Announces Text to Pay for Small Businesses, Future Plans For Integrated Communications Payment Platform
Weave, the integrated communications company, today announced the Weave
payment platform-a comprehensive payment platform designed to handle all
payments in any small to medium-sized business. The innovation comes at
a critical time as small businesses push to keep up with the on-demand
climate of today's consumers. Weave's payment platform provides multiple
ways for businesses to collect money and effortless ways for consumers
to pay.
Weave's first installment in their payment platform is Text to Pay,
which has been in beta with users since March of 2018 and is now
available to all customers.
Text to Pay enables businesses to send a payment request through SMS,
payable by credit card anytime. Text to Pay has shown exceptional
success with users since its beta launch in March 2018, with 70% of Text
to Pay requests being paid within one day while the industry average for
payment time is 30 days. Text to Pay reduces the time and costs involved
in revenue cycle operations and stimulating revenue capture so cash
returns to businesses faster.
"Collection of payments is tough no matter what business you're in, and
we have spent the last year understanding this pain point," said Johny
Wudel VP of Product at Weave. "Customers want easy ways to pay at a
time convenient for them, and that is exactly what Weave payments
delivers. It's an easier and cleaner process that is integrated with the
communication tools within Weave."
Text to Pay is HIPAA-compliant, PCI (News - Alert)-compliant, and is served on webpages
secured by TLS certification which reports higher security than SSL
certification.
Weave's payment platform joins popular Weave features like Missed Call
Text, Automated Appointment Reminders, Email Marketing, Digital Fax,
Team Chat and Reviews in the hub of over 40 features currently available
to Weave customers. Weave has also built a full VoIP phone solution that
seamlessly ties into a businesses' CRM or practice management software.
Established in 2008 as Recall Solutions and later renamed Weave in 2011,
the integrated communications software company in Utah Valley's tech
corridor has grown from just two employees at its inception to over 375
today. With roots in the dental industry and growth into more
industries, Weave has effectively doubled ARR two years in a row, in
2017 and 2018, with no plans of slowing down.
The startup co-founded by Brandon Rodman, Jared Rodman and Clint Berry
is located in the Silicon Slopes of Utah Valley-- a hot, economic
powerhouse that continues to lure people from out of state in record
numbers (2018 brought about 115,000 new residents to Utah, putting Utah
in the top three states for percentage growth). According to Cushman &
Wakefield, Weave is located in the fastest-growing tech employment
market in the country that employs more people in tech companies than in
San Francisco.
