Rich Tehrani, son of Nadji Tehrani, has been involved with the company from its earliest stages. Rich was instrumental in launching the Communications Solutions and INTERNET TELEPHONY brands, launching TMC into fast-growing communications and technology markets in the 1990s. Rich served in many capacities at the company, including six years as MIS Director and five years as Publisher of Communications Solutions, before becoming President in 1999, Group Editor-in-Chief in 2000, and CEO in 2009. Carrie Schmelkin
Director of Content Marketing, TMC

As Director of Content Marketing for the Content Boost program, Carrie Schmelkin is responsible for managing and fostering successful client relations, ensuring that Content Boost marketing and editorial objectives are met and advising clients on content marketing, lead generation, SEO and branding strategies.

Carrie has worked with a variety of high profile clients on branding and copy creation-from Sprint to Panasonic to AT&T to Emerson Network Power. Her accomplishments include increasing over a dozen companies' Google and Bing rankings by more than 150 percent, tripling the monthly page views for several clients' sites, and taking home the 2012 Go Green Advertising's Gold Award for Social Media Campaign and the 2012 Go Green Advertising's Gold Award for Marketing Program Booklet. Her extensive journalism experience at several print and online publications also resulted in her receiving first place for Educational Reporting in the National New England Newspaper & Press Association (NENPA) competition in 2011.

Carrie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in magazine journalism and English. She has a minor in sociology. Carrie most recently completed her Social Media Marketing professional degree from Purchase College.

Michael Genaro
Executive VP of Operations

Since 2001 when named VP of Marketing for TMC, Michael has been focused on successful, cost-effective execution of TMC's marketing programs and events. In addition, he was extremely helpful in managing TMC operations during both good and difficult economic times. As Executive VP of Operations, he continues to oversee TMC's marketing efforts, while also managing the successful execution of TMC's print, online, and trade show initiatives - both on behalf of TMC and of its clients. Michael works closely with all departments to maximize ROI as TMC continues to grow. A 15-year publishing and tradeshow management veteran, Michael is also instrumental in the planning and execution of TMC's industry-leading events. Michael received a BA in Communications from Iona College.
