Rich Tehrani, son of Nadji Tehrani, has been involved with the company from its earliest stages. Rich was instrumental in launching the Communications Solutions and INTERNET TELEPHONY brands, launching TMC into fast-growing communications and technology markets in the 1990s. Rich served in many capacities at the company, including six years as MIS Director and five years as Publisher of Communications Solutions, before becoming President in 1999, Group Editor-in-Chief in 2000, and CEO in 2009. Dave has been a tremendous contributor to TMC since joining the company in 2003, improving both top line and bottom line growth as VP of publications and conferences. As President, Dave develops high-level strategy and identifies new areas of opportunity for TMC, while ensuring effective execution. In addition, he focuses on partnerships which will allow new partners to leverage the tremendous community-building infrastructure TMC has developed over the past decades.
Under his direction, TMC publications, online media vehicles, and events have earned market-leading positions by constantly growing revenue and market share. Prior to his tenure with TMC, David was employed by Penton Media where he held the positions of Global Event Sales Manager for the Wireless events group and National Sales Manager for the ISPworld website. David received a BA from the University of Connecticut.
Executive VP of Operations
Since 2001 when named VP of Marketing for TMC, Michael has been focused on successful, cost-effective execution of TMC's marketing programs and events. In addition, he was extremely helpful in managing TMC operations during both good and difficult economic times. As Executive VP of Operations, he continues to oversee TMC's marketing efforts, while also managing the successful execution of TMC's print, online, and trade show initiatives - both on behalf of TMC and of its clients. Michael works closely with all departments to maximize ROI as TMC continues to grow. A 15-year publishing and tradeshow management veteran, Michael is also instrumental in the planning and execution of TMC's industry-leading events. Michael received a BA in Communications from Iona College.
Director of Content Marketing
As Director of Content Marketing for the Content Boost program, Carrie Majewski
(née Schmelkin) is responsible for managing and fostering successful client relations, ensuring that Content Boost marketing and editorial objectives are met and advising clients on content marketing, lead generation, SEO and branding strategies.
Carrie has worked with a variety of high profile clients on branding and copy creation-from Sprint to Panasonic to AT&T to Emerson Network Power. Her accomplishments include increasing over a dozen companies' Google and Bing rankings by more than 150 percent, tripling the monthly page views for several clients' sites, and taking home the 2012 Go Green Advertising's Gold Award for Social Media Campaign and the 2012 Go Green Advertising's Gold Award for Marketing Program Booklet. Her extensive journalism experience at several print and online publications also resulted in her receiving first place for Educational Reporting in the National New England Newspaper & Press Association (NENPA) competition in 2011.
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in magazine journalism and English. She has a minor in sociology. Carrie most recently completed her Social Media Marketing professional degree from Purchase College.
Brett is the go to guy for many tasks at Technology Marketing Corporation and Content Boost. Since joining TMC in 2012, Brett has taken on many roles from building client websites using HTML and CSS to editing and writing xml to design work such as creating ad banners and eye catching email blasts.
Brett is a problem solver who can think technically, creatively and strategically to best handle any task he is given. He is contributing to Content Boost by implementing content marketing, lead generation, SEO and branding strategies.
Prior to joining the company, Brett worked for a leading provider of Internet based services for radio and television clients. There he built interactive websites for clients such as Entercom Digital, CBS, Cumulus and Cherry Creek Radio.
Product Management & Operations:
Since joining Technology Marketing Corporation in 2007, Jaime Hernaez has worked closely with strategic clients and partners to develop and manage robust integrated marketing campaigns to meet their organizations goals. Managing TMC's client services team, Jaime oversees operations and delivery of integrated online, print and video campaigns.
Prior to TMC, Jaime worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Solegy an application service provider offering a suite of Managed VoIP solutions for carriers and service providers. As the Sales and Marketing Director for telic.net, also a service provider for telephony products, she led the sales team for both the company's VoIP and termination products. Jaime began her career at PSINet Philippines, then a leading international Internet service provider. Jaime worked in conjunction with TMC as an exhibitor at ITEXPO and with various INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine projects. Hernaez holds a degree in English Literature from Ateneo de Manila University.
