Demand Gen Report Recognizes Two Attivo Networks Marketers in Second Annual B2B Innovator Awards
Attivo
Networks®, the award-winning leader in deception
technology for cybersecurity defense, today announced that Demand Gen
Report has named Carolyn Crandall, chief deception officer/CMO at Attivo
Networks, and Brooke Irish, Marketing Manager, to its list of 2018
B2B Innovators. Crandall was honored in the Marketing Mentor

This year, more than 130 nominations were submitted across various
verticals. The Demand Gen Report team assessed and
selected 32 final winners in 12 categories. These winners were
acknowledged for thinking outside of the box and for helping to develop
and foster innovative concepts and strategies for their organizations
and the B2B industry at large.
"We applaud Demand Gen Report for recognizing the innovation and
leadership that Carolyn and Brooke bring to the table," said Tushar
Kothari, CEO, Attivo Networks. "These awards are well-deserved and
underscore the hard work and creativity they have applied to
establishing threat-deception technology as a critical in-network
detection security control in the market today."
Crandall has served as the chief deception officer and CMO of Attivo
Networks since 2015 and holds over 30 years o experience in
high-technology. She is recognized for her leadership and continued
willingness to educate the next generation of marketers on the
strategies, skills, and power tips required for high-impact brand
awareness, demand generation, partnering, and technology innovation
programs. Her mentorship includes ongoing development of her team at
Attivo Networks and participation in thought leadership discussions at
Santa Clara University, TiE Silicon Valley CMO Inflect, WITI, Fountain
Blue, and other industry forums. Previous positions held were at some of
the fastest technology growth companies, including Cisco, Riverbed,
Seagate(i365 (News - Alert)), and Nimble Storage.
Irish, Marketing Manager at Attivo Networks, is responsible for managing
the company's marketing automation program, which is used as one of the
company's primary communication vehicles for onboarding new prospects.
Since joining the company in 2017, she has quickly demonstrated her
ability to take on major new projects and bring them successfully to
completion. This includes rolling out an entirely new marketing
automation platform, bringing the company into GDPR compliance, and
creating new repeatable demand generation program templates that her
peers can easily use for their marketing programs. Irish graduated Cum
Laude from Santa Clara University in 2017, where she earned a bachelor's
degree in marketing and a minor in political science.
Creative marketing awareness, education, and demand generation programs
are instrumental in driving adoption of new technologies. Although
deception is well known for its role in military and sports, its use for
outmaneuvering the adversary for cybersecurity is still emerging.
Crandall and Irish both work tirelessly to find new and innovative
methods to stay top of mind for customers and motivate them to
understand and embrace deception technology for an Active Defense
security strategy.
