Emma Announces Marketing United: Celebrating Modern Marketing with A-List of Speakers and Entertainment
Emma,
a provider of best-in-class email marketing software and services, today
announces Marketing United, a three-day conference for marketers to come
together to share successes and challenges, learn from industry leaders
and network in downtown Nashville, one of America's fastest-growing
cities.
The event will be held April 29 through May 1, 2015 at various downtown
locations, with pre-conference programming and a closing party on the
Emma campus. The conference keynotes and breakout sessions will provide
insights from a wide range of expert marketers and focus on the power of
uniting channels, teams and tools to modernize marketing programs. With
an emphasis on the art and science of brand storytelling in the digital
space, Marketing United is geared toward anyone looking to add fresh and
inspiring ideas to their marketing efforts.
"This event is the culmination of 12 years of growth - in the Emma
platform, in our amazing customer base and in the ever-expanding notion
of marketing as a discipline," said Clint Smith, CEO and co-founder of
Emma. "Since the very beginning, we've viewed our customers and network
of friends as a virtual community of marketers, and now we're actually
bringing everyone together - in real life. Marketing United is Emma's
opportunity to create a lively discussion about the future of marketing,
in a city that happens to be incredibly inspiring."
Emma is announcing Marketing United following a series of innovative
product enhancements, including the Metric app for iPhone (News - Alert), an
interactive click map, a proprieary Mailing Score for marketers, and,
most recently, an email automation suite that makes lifecycle
marketing easier than ever.
"Nashville has this amazing momentum right now in a lot of exciting ways
and we feel that here every day at Emma. Our team has grown, our
customer base has grown and we're excited to share that energy we feel
with everyone over these three days," said Grey Garner, VP of Marketing,
"We're also privileged to invite some of the incredibly savvy marketers
and thought leaders we've met over the past decade to share their
expertise."
Marketing United promises to be packed with strategic insights and
takeaways from some of the biggest brands in the Southeast, with great
food and drink options to keep attendees going. Confirmed speakers
include Ann Handley, best-selling author and chief content officer of
MarketingProfs; Ben Swank, head marketing honcho and master of mayhem at
Third Man Records; Jim Sherraden, master printer and curator at Hatch
Show Print; and Kim Alexander, digital media editor for Garden & Gun.
By offering a great first-time experience for new visitors to Nashville
and fostering deeper relationships with existing customers, friends and
fans, Marketing United strives to turn the concept of a business
conference on its head, inspiring all attendees to do great marketing.
Additional Marketing United details will be announced in the coming
months. Visit www.marketingunited.com for
