Veloxity unveils the LockerPower Lite, its new flagship phone charging kiosk

BOSTON, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Veloxity, a leading provider of phone charging solutions, is launching a new generation phone charging kiosk designed for the high-end market segment. Developments in this model include: more lockers, a bigger touch screen, faster charging, improved analytics, and a lightweight design. A larger screen accommodates two forms of video or image advertising, while an improved software allows for an intuitive user experience. Veloxity's new kiosk will empower clients to engage more users and better cater to their device charging needs.

Like its predecessor, each of the LockerPower Lite's lockers contain the following charging cables: micro USB, Apple Lightning, iPhone 4, and USB Type C. Together, these cables allow Veloxity to provide charging capabilities for more than 98% of mobile devices on the market today. Veloxity's clients will have the option to upgrade to indestructible cables that are backed by a lifetime warranty. The new model will feature improved analytical capabilities through surveys and data capture.

The LockerPower Lite also lives up to its namesake, providing clients with a lighter, sleeke charging kiosk. In pre-launch trials, Veloxity has observed an average increase of 28% in social media interaction with the kiosk itself, translating to increased social media activity for the client. From these interactions, along with usage data, Veloxity estimates an average increased retention rate of 16-20%.
